The LDBW is a LGBTQI+ (predominantely men) new event for 2021 set in the centre of the Lake District in the beautiful market town of Keswick.
We are commited to providing equal access to all participants when possible. People with mobility issues might not be able to take part in all outdoor activities but there will be events in pubs, restaurants and halls. For these places we will ensure wheelchair access.
If you have mobitility related issues please let us know.
Around Keswick there are many different types of accommodation available: campsites, hostels, bed and breakfast, hotels. Therefore, you can spend as much as you want.
We recommend you to visit the Visit Keswick website. They will help you check and book the best place for you to stay.
Not difficult but it can be a long travel. If you come from London you would have to take one train and a bus journey through the countryside. That's about 3 hours by train and 40 minutes by bus. Click here to see a sample journey.
If you enjoy nature and the countryside you will think it is well worth it. By the time you reach the Lake District you will be exposed to a beautiful landscape with mountains and lakes.
Yes we are going to release tickets for the night do and the saturday activities. We are not aiming to make any profit on this, therefore it will be affordable. We estimate between £30 and £50.
